So far I know of three strategies to use in Pax. Here they are.
1)Apping (I use this strategy, it is when you abandon your base to trap ships)
2)Conquer (I use this strategy when I playing some of Stipa's maps, it is when you take stars and rely on them for your source of ships).
3)Torching( when you keep your base but rely on ships that are trapped to wage war).
Any other strategies?

Suicide1- staying so people will pick you up.
Suicide2- Attacking someone clearly having more ships than you.
Suicide3- Move your ships in different directions to be picked up.
lol
Anyway, here's the real one.
Stirring- Make a weak point at one player so that other players will start attacking. Or just any other way so that you can stir up a "battle" between two players.

we should create a strategy rule book lol what to do in common situations. when an ai is about to win how to get even the stubborness players to ally with you how to divide and rule the wolfmo! like i said you should try the one i mentioned of elderad, noticing the other players before its even started. if you see the ai but its still a bit of a reach, it might be better for you to construct a secure boarder(by that i mean a side in which only way in is by them knocking u off a red star or purple star) and sending the rest of ur army to find the noobish/ai i say this because for 3 games in a row me and DF (hes gd) were locked in enternal battle on eggs map (the 6 identical nase pme wjere all is even and there are three identical bases in the middle). while we fought, evenone else died and there was a giant red or yellow who then ate us. because this happened so often it really opened my eyes i play to win. every game. and i realised that just not letting DF win either was not gd enough for me. i then started my new tactic and it works a lot better. i wasnt suiciding on him, i just neither of us could move. infact we werent even attacking each other in sum maps. sumtimes its better to move next door noobville or AItown

LOL stirrring thats pretty interesting say on st jean u attack blue and then yellow follows, u are not as committed, so when blue breaks apart u are stronger enough to rush in and eat the rewards of yellow

There is this one move I have seen Egg use that he calls "Grope" (apparently he likes to use it a lot on the map "Star") where he would attack a star with a large group of ships, and when it was partly weakened move around it while each star that was already taken is quickly changed to attack this group of ships. I have used it and it works extremely well, but you have to be very quick and careful, as a small slipup might push the ships away or get your own separated and taken.

I call that plain trapping. Once, Egg tried to do it on me, and failed. So instead of taking my 200 ships, he lost 140 ships to me. Mwahahaha.

i always do that to egg it is called a very long trap.
One time, the time i retired ham(haven't seen him since) i was down by 150-200, i had lost one game before that to him, and this was on Stipa's Server. Well this was the part of the game that decides the outcome. I acted lke i was suiciding on him 300 to 300 this was all my ships he was attacking another player spreading out his forces. I attacked a star next to him and then the one next to that and before he knew it bam Got 300 of his ship winning the game.
Egg got this idea from me he was therewhen i did it.

I see.
Anyway, Stirring is especially good when having one human and one AI opponent. If you lessen the ships of the human opponent enough, Ai will attack. After they attack for some time, come in and REAP THE PRIZE. Mwahahahahaha

wolfy has her girl power technique, which is very scary also sum ppl keep pets. while this is not a strategy normally, if they are on a repair star and too big to eat, u can trap them with a red star and take all the other stars on the map, creating a cagesum more pax moves

hmmm strategy's
Turtling - Get planets, stay defending for ages and try to outproduce.
Rushing - Trap ships allooot, u dont care if u got a base or not.
Balanced - Get planets and produce, but u trap too!
Suicide - Attack only 1 player and stay attacking him, even if you cant win. Other players or he will get ur ships, u dont care.
Steamroller - Use all you're ships to kill one player, you have more ships then him and you win.
Diplomacy - GAY peacing!
